What else to say to the characters???

Had fun with Peter Pan when my DS wore his Capt. Hook shirt, also I called Capt. Hook a codfish and he chased me, caught me and put my hands behind my back!!! Lots of fun....My DH asked Minnie if she would share his cheese (dinner at CM) she then sat on his lap, great pictures!!!

In January, me and my fiance went to take a picture with Mickey at MGM. We just all stood there normal, Mickey with his hands on his belly. My fiance's mom took the pic and we walked to his dad that was waiting for us by the door. We get to him and he's laughing and pointing behind us. I turn around and Mickey is standing right behind me!
He starts kissing my hand and trying to walk me out the door, and his handler was like 'No, Mickey! You have to stay here! You can't take her.' And he kissed my hand again and put his hands on his hips and looked at my fiance like, 'What now, punk?' it was so funny and that's all I could talk about for the rest of the trip.
"Yeah, but honey, Mickey wanted me. You know he's rolling in money, right? You better treat me real good, or I might just take him up on that offer!" And he'd pout a little bit.
But then we went to take a picture with Goofy and Goofy hugged me and pushed my fiance out of the picture! :rotfl2: He got even more pouty after that, but it was all in good fun :)

Bump!

My very first picture with a character was in 2004 on my honeymoon, the luck guy? Donald! I was so nervous and idn't have a clue what to do so i just stood there and my husband took the picture, when I walked away I looked back at Donald and he blew me a kiss. Needless to say i never blushed so much in my life lol..

Last year Goofy wouldn't let me go, I mean he literally had a hold of me around my shoulders and wouldn't let me go after we had taken our pictures. I though he was gonna fight my husband for me lol...

My family's favourite character moment was back when I was eight. This would probably be 1994. I had been very excited to meet Chip and Dale. They were my very favourite characters. My parent's booked a Chip and Dale character dinner, but when we got there it was a Mickey and Minnie dinner, they had cancelled Chip and Dale. Needless to say, my eight-year-old self was devestated. However, we continued with dinner, and had a good time.

The next day, we went to the Magic Kingdom. We were wandering down a very deserted stretch of the park, when Chip and Dale, dressed in parade wear came out of a gate. My Mom started screaming to me, "It's Chip and Dale!!" Very loudly. They ran right over to her, and started to go through the fanny pack she had on, discarding empty wrappers, and taking out the money. They also spent a lot of time pointing and laughing at her. It was hilarious. I was very happy to see them. My mom still hasn't lived it down. Every time we go, we manage to point them out to her.

Another great character experience was when we were at MGM Studios. We were near the back of the park, only about three other families around, when Belle and Goofy came out (this was before the line up and meet and greet). Somebody mentioned Belle's dancing with the Beast, and she and Goofy did a ballroom dance for the few of us watching. It was great!

Wow, this was wonderful... what great ideas... I'll have to use a few on my next trip.

On Our last trip with me and DW, we saw Jessie from toy story 2 in MGM. I blew her a kiss as I walked upto her, she went all shy (bless her) then blew one back and gave me a big hug :)

both for pins we HAD and ones we didn't.

My DD (3 at the time) had a Cruella pin on her lanyard and yelled to Cruella during the Stars and Motor Cars parade..."I have your pin!". Cruella came out of the parade and admired herself as a pin and said "It's fabulous, darling! I LOVE it" Of course, my DD quickly translated it into "I Love You" and told everyone that day that Cruella loved her.

Jesse, and Chip & Dale, all indignantly pointed to my kids lanyards and indicated that there was no pin of them on them. We have photos of this.

A couple of good interactions...

Coming off of a Disney cruise last year, and then going to MNSSHP that night, toward the end of the evening, we were the only ones at Mickey's house, and he was clearly bored. We had our picture taken, and then Mickey started clowning around with us. I said, "Gee, Mickey, you sure made it here fast from the cruise ship!" He looked at me, and started nodding and wiped his brow like, "Whew!" Then he grabbed me by the hand and started pulling me toward his house...I was confused, and then the CM said, "Mickey, Minnie wouldn't like that if she found out!" And my DH chimed in with, "And neither would I!" Mickey sighed really big and kissed my hand and my cheek. DH was just grinning and I started laughing, as Mickey then turned around and escorted me back to DH, put my hand in his, and wagged his finger at DH as if to say, "You take care of her." It was really great.

Also had a great time with Aladdin at Epcot the next day. He was also standing alone, and I had my princess hat on (the baseball hat with all the princesses on it -- anyone know what I'm talking about?). Anyway, Jasmine is on the back of the hat, so Aladdin had to turn the hat around on my head, "So Jasmine can be in the picture, too." I have a great shot of me wearing my hat backwards and Aladdin leaning on my shoulder. Then he had me pose with my arms crossed, and he stood so we were back to back in the same pose. As I was leaving, he said, "Bye Princess!" which was really funny because, well, that's what they say to the little kids but never to us adults. The whole rest of the day I teased my DH..."Aladdin said I was a princess." princess:

I love interacting with characters!

Several from our most recent trip:

At Garden Grill on our first day, DS5 was only poking at his vegetables. Mickey had come by a second time, and we told DS "You really ought to eat some of those for Mickey. He worked hard to grow them, you know." Of course, DS was all over the place with excitement---everywhere but his chair. Mickey drew himself up to full height (surprisingly tall for a mouse), and somehow managed to look stern (despite the big smile), point at the chair, point at DS' plate, and point at DS. The rest of us were literally falling out of our chairs laughing.

A couple of days later, we were sitting on the west-side Main St. curb (in the shade!) eating ice cream, and the Dapper Dans walked right up to us announcing, "You folks look like you need some entertainment while you eat." Naturally, a crowd formed around us, and we had a ball. After a bit, Constance Purchase walked up and joined in. I shouted "brava!" after she sang, and she started flirting with me. Just as she starts in, DW shouts, "Back off, sister. He's taken." That one cracked a couple of the Dans up!

Later that day I ran into Chief Miller. He asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, and I replied I was hoping not to have to. ;)

Later in the trip was at the Norway lunch. Jasmine came by and DW asked her if she'd manage to "civilize" Aladdin yet. Jasmine said that it was hard, because he still thought that if you don't get caught, you haven't done anything wrong. She signs, poses, says goodbye, and to the kids "Now, be good for the rest of the day, okay?" I replied, "You mean, don't get caught, right?" She wagged her finger at me on the way out.

Mickey was quite disappointed in me this past year when I was wearing a Donald Tee Shirt and asked Mickey to take a picture with me...he crossed his arms and shook his head and we had a hard time getting him to take the picture! It was funny! :rotfl:

:wizard: :pug:

Donald wouldn't give me an autograph years ago unless i gave him a kiss. it actually freaked me out and bit and i've stayed away from Donald since lol.
