what do you think about 4th of July?

Hello everyone I haven't been here for a while as I was planning a Mexico trip,but now I'm back cause I NEED my DL fix! So I looked thru some of the posts and couldn't find anything about the 4th of July time period. My man's b-day is the 6th so I was thinking maybe the 2nd to the 7th? Normally we do June but it's just been so freaking nuts and filled with teens that text and chat on rides which drives me bonkers. Am I crazy thinking the 4th? I read July is blockout time and remember someone posting one time that the 4th was a bit slower? Thoughts? Thanks heehee I'm giddy

Oh yes, early July is much better than June to avoid those pesky teenagers. Psh, teenagers shouldn't even be allowed in DL because they just ruin the atmosphere.

Anyway, seriously, if this year's crowds follow last year's crowd patterns, then July 4th should be almost empty. Very quiet. But July 2nd will most likely be crazy packed because the APs are not blocked out yet. Once the 3rd comes though, BOOM! The crowd levels should decrease significantly.

My DD's B~day is 7/3 ~ we fly in on 7/2 in the evening and we'll be in the parks 7/3-7/6!

YAY have an awesome time
I gotta find a super deal,anyone hears of anything let me know. We could fly out of bellingham or seattle,victoria and vancouver are still pretty pricey. I'd like to stay as close as possible as well since it will probably be best case scenario 4 days in the park.

7/4 & 7/5 are $50 per night
I'll keep an eye on prices at closer places ~ Anaheim Plaza http://www.anaheimplazahotel.com/ might work, it's $89 now but can be in the $50 range. I'd love to get the ent. rate @ HoJo but I'm doubting that.
