Depends on what time we get there and how late the parks are open.
If we get there in the morning, we'll unpack, rest up and hit a park. If it's later in the afternoon, we'll do the same. . unpack, rest, go to DTD or wander the resort (if we've never been there.)
Our next trip we plan on staying at AsSports and now that they have the mini fridges, a run to the store may be in the cards so we can eat breakfast in the room instead of using a food credit.

we arrive and get settled and my sister has to decorate the room for the closest holiday then we get iced tea and a coffee and relax for a while then we head for DTD and check out all that is new and plan for what all we need to come back and do there thru the two weeks we there. 
then we eat at Rain Forest and then head to resort as we have been up all night the nite before so we get to bed early and then get up and hit it early character breakfast 
for the first full day at MK 
sometimes we may lay in the sun or swim but usually we just veg around that first day.
