WDW/DCL Western Caribbean Honeymoon Extravaganza!! DONE!!! - PG 51!!

I want to hear about the food setting on the camera too!

That is one thing I have not done yet - food pictures. I guess we are always too hungry and I forget till we are halfway through the meal! Next trip.

I am now full of delicious cheese enchiladas from Tejas and am abck to the pictures. While I'm waiting for them all to upload, I might as well post a few more of the professional ones. :bride:

Sorry for the extreme close up, but check out my earrings and necklace!

See what I mean about my make-up? Way too much caked on, for my taste anyway. But that's coming from someone who, before the wedding, had not put on so much as a spot of make-up since school got out a month earlier.

I love this picture because it's one of the few that Emma is actually smiling in. She was getting into her dress at this point.

Here's me and my girls. This is one of those fake laughing ones, but we were all actually really cracking up because as soon as the photog said, "okay, now walk toward me and laugh," my sister busted out with this loud obvious fake laugh that just cracked me up!!
ry%3D400

While all that getting ready was going on, on my end, here was Tom, waiting patiently at the church.
ry%3D400

Here are my programs. Thanks to the disboards and it's brides for the idea AND the template to make it. She took a pic of the back but there is a pic of the front somewhere I can post later.

These are all great!! You make me want to do my wedding all over again!!!
We were on your crusie for our 10 year Anniversary.
Your pictures are beautiful!!

Nikki!! I'm lovin' your trip/honeymoon/cruise report. I'm so excited to hear all about your wonderful adventure. AND, your wedding pictures are so beautiful and creative. Love the center pieces at the reception with the snowglobes and the fans/programs. What a unique celebration! More people should think outside the box! Looking forward to the next post!

Yay!! Welcome to the TR!

Yeah, we have lots of pageant girls down here and I just don't understand how they can smile so much...but if you look at their eyes, you can tell when it's fake. It just makes my face hurt. Don't worry -- when I met you, Nikki, and Christy, I thought you all had genuine smiles on your face. Maybe the "wedding smile syndrome" had passed by then...? :)

My off-camera smiles were all legit! pooh:

CAN'T WAIT FOR OUR OCTOBER TRIP WITH EMMA (AKA, the CUTEST BABY IN THE WORLD), AUNT NIK & UNCLE TOM!!!! ºOº ºOº

I LOVE good food porn! I was meaning to do the same on the cruise, but I totally forgot! Great TR so far you guys!

That's so great that you guys are into "food porn" also!:rotfl2:
On our first cruise, I think we have pictures of everything we ate.
We would pass the camera around the table so everyone was able to take a pic of what they had......people next to us, gave us a few looks the first few nights. Wonder what that thought of us???:rotfl2:
This time around we continued with the "food porn" but when possible we put our faces in the picture along with it....made for some great shots!

Great pictures from 'Ohana. In fact, my wife and I were at 'Ohana on the same night as you. We had a 5:15 p.m. ADR and sat just a couple tables over from you. Once we saw your pictures, it reminded us that we commented about your DH's pineapple drink that we had seen from afar.

Keep up the trip report. I'll have to follow along and see if we had any other close encounters!

THAT is funny!! He said the drink was good but NOT delicious and certainly not worth the price He only got it because where else can you get a drink served in a whole pineapple? I told him he had to get it!

(I would have gotten it but I don't like pineapple. Actually more like what I said about the bread pudding...I never tried pineapple, so therefore, I don't like pineapple. I eat a lot, but not a large variety of things. I eat like an 8 year old.)

Day 2 ~ July 20
Getting ready and Epcot, Future World!

I woke up early, and went outside onto our balcony to discover RAIN!! NO PROBLEM! Actually I was kind of a little excited!

If you remember from my PRE trip report, I am NOT a shopper. I hardly ever buy myself clothes or anything really. BUT when I have a Disney trip coming up and ESPECIALLY a cruise coming up, I went crazy buying things. I mean like for the past year and a half. Things that I knew we needed, things I thought we MIGHT need, things suggested by DISers. I bought "cruise casual" dresses, I bought us "excursion bags," you name it. I had piles of things just lying around waiting to be brought on this vacation!

One of those things were rain jackets I had found on DisneyShopping a LONG time ago. ;) We once were stuck in the rain, and we DID have ponchos. They were the old school ponchos too I had gotten on my family trips probably in the 90's, so they were thicker than the ones they sell now. BUT they were worthless. They ripped, we got soaked....we NEEDED rain jackets! And you also know I hate to waste money so I was kind of hoping we would get to use them at least once. Which brings be back to the morning of our second day, when I woke up to see rain....

Tom got up shortly after I did and he went down to Capt. Cooks to get breakfast while I got in the shower. He came back with 2 reusable mugs, a croissant for me, a Mickey waffle and Tonga Toast!
ry%3D400

:scared1: WAIT, we have breakfast at Kona Cafe tomorrow! You were supposed to get the Tonga Toast then! (Stephanie, I'm like you with "the plan!") Well, he had about half and didn't really love it so he went to his old favorite, a mickey waffle!! (Do I even need to exlain why I did't eat the Tonga Toast?)

So we got our rain jackets out and realized that the pocket on the back of the jacket is actually meant to stuff the jacket into so we can carry it compacted. They fit perfectly in the orang sling bag and they were very light!

We got ready and walked to the TTC to hop on the monorail to Epcot. Tom had an appopriate shirt on and he has a public service announcement for everyone.
ry%3D400

Tom snapped a few pictures of a rainy Spaceship Earth from the monorail.
ry%3D400

I went straight to Guest Relations to purchase the Tables in Wonderland card and by that time, they were letting people through the turnstiles. We always walk to the right of SE, especially on the first few days. (The only time we walk to the left is if it's the last day we have in Epcot and we haven't ridded Test Track yet.) Well, like most others there, we were headed to Soarin'! BUT on the way, who do we see?? DAISY! I was so excited because I don't ever remember seeing her before! At least, not in the last few trips. So we got a picture. She was excited that we just got married and we posed with or rings.
ry%3D400

I had never really been at rope drop before. We always get to the parks early but we either JUST miss it or we got for AM EMH, so I was excited to see that all the characters come out and that the CMs from each ride come over to bring the guests to that attraction. VERY well organized, IMO.
ry%3D400

Off we went, following the CMs to Soarin'!
ry%3D400

I really dislike that walk up to the Land and then down to Soarin'. Especially when we just need to grab a FP and leave. And even more especially when it seems like everyone else in the park is headed to the same place. As we were walking up the ramp to the entrance of the Land, I saw someone with lime green mickey head on his backpack but I didn't say anything. I don't remember why I didn't, either I was too far away or too much on a mission to get to that FP machine!

The CMs inside were directing us all to the right. I ran down to get the FP while Tom waited upstairs. Then we walked over to Test Track, with only a 10 minute wait! Woo Hoo!
ry%3D400

I LOVE this picture in the "briefing room!"
ry%3D400

After Test Track, we went to Tom's favorite store in all of WDW, MouseGear!!! We shopped for a little, took a few pics around the entrance to WS and even spotted Marie!! No one was around her and when we expressed our surpise to her handler, she said that Marie is hardly ever out. Wow, we are really lucking out on the rare characters today!

By now, our FP time came up so we went back to The Land.
ry%3D400

Sorry buddy, but you gotta put your ears away!
ry%3D400

And if you're too short, you need to put your belt through the loop. "Nice work, pal!"
ry%3D400

The ride was AWESOME, as always! I always clap at the end, even if other people aren't! Usually a few people join in with me. When we exited the ride, Tom was inspired to SOAR!!!!
ry%3D400

When we got out, there was no wait for Living with the Land, so we rode that before making our way to World Showcase!!!

UP NEXT: World Showcase and lunch at Chefs de France!!

Nice update.

I don't remember the rain...mmmm

It was probably while we were eating breakfast?

I'm always excited when it rains, (not thunderstorms, just raining a little though,) because there are less crowds.

I don't like spending a lot of money either, but I never seem to mind in Disney. Like at home I'm an extreme coupon shopper at the grocery store, but in Disney? Sure, I'll spend $10+ on a glass of wine, and won't think twice about an $18 cheese plate.

That video always cracks me up.

Love your picture with Marie the cat!! We have been looking for her the last several trips with no luck. I saw those rain coats a while back, not I wish I had bought them too! We were sleeping in that morning, after EMH at MK till 3am - I guess that is why we missed the rain!

Just read your update and it was DEFINITELY while you were eating breakfast.

Yeah, well it stopped for a while then by the time WS opened, it started raining again. It was defintely empty, but WS usually is not crowded when it first opens!

I know exactly what you mean! The drinks are NOT cheap but, I'll take another margarita, please! This is something I'll get into towards the end, but I never regret a PENNY that I spend in WDW because it's all worth it!

We always laugh at the Soarin' video. I HAD to take a pic!

There will be a pic of us in the rain jackets in the next installment because it started raining again after Soarin' and they were AWESOME! Totally worth it. I love when things turn out how I want them to!

Bumb and subscription so I can come back and read!;)

Yay!! Hope you enjoy it!

Love the update!

Thanks! :thumbsup2
