I've been using a DVA to store gift cards I pick up at the grocery store, and also to add a small amount of money every two weeks (on Friday). This morning, I woke up to the following email.
First, I thought that it might be a duplicate email from last Friday's contribution, but it wasn't, as Friday's email is clearly dated for Friday.
Then, I thought that, while annoying, it might just be a stray email - but no, there is a second pending charge to my CC in addition to the charge that was already processed from Friday.
I am the only person with access to this account and I did not authorize a transaction for today.
It isn't the end of the world for me as the account is funded with a CC and I can easily have the money refunded, but for those who use a debit card or who have large monthly contributions, having a planned charge processed twice could create a terrible financial situation. Just a heads up.
