Viewing fireworks from aft room/balcony?

We are booked in room 6688, aft cabin starboard, just over Mickey on the back of the boat. Will we have a good view of the fireworks on Pirate night from our room? We may be too tired for the crowds up on deck.....

Don't know that that is a good location for fireworks. And DCL does request that you not occupy the verandahs (at least some of them) during the fireworks.

The fireworks are fired toward midship away from the ship.

The fireworks are best viewed from the starboard side midship. I don't know how much you'd be able to see from the back of the ship.

And as noted, at least some cabins get notices asking them to be sure they have no personal belongings or people on their verandah during the display.

Remember even though the ship stops or slows down, the prevailing winds will affect the direction of the pyrotechnics "burst" position to a point. (they may be blown a bit more forward, and bit more aft)

Best bet is if they are important to you, go up to the top deck on the starboard side, forward, midship or aft, you WILL see them then!

Well, we were in 9674 aft on the DREAM and we could see the fireworks. It was great. Maybe we just got lucky that night?? Also, we didn't get anything saying to stay off the verandah. Never heard of that until I read it on the boards here.
