VB Reconstruction

We have a trip planned to VB on November 10th. We received a FedEx with a note telling us that the beach will be undergoing beach reconstruction during that time and nobody will be allowed on the beach. I love going to VB-but prefer to go when the beach can be accessed!
Is anybody else changing plans?
Anybody have ideas of a nice beach on the West Coast of Florida in the Sarasota area?

They must be doinga beach replenishment to restore sand to the area.

Maybe you could try Sanibel Island or Sand Key (by Clearwater.)
