Vancouver Disney transfer or walk-off and cab?

I am getting a nervous about our flight time. We are using miles and the only flight that will work for us is at 11:38. Would it be faster to use the onboard airline check in and Disney transportation or do the walk off and get our own cab?

There is no onboard airline check-in in Vancouver. For a flight that early, either do walk-off or talk to guest services and let them know that you have an early flight and get the first luggage tag (to get off right after the walk-offs, think it's Ariel). That would probably give you plenty of time to get to the airport with DCL transfers.

if the line is long for taxis... just walk to the front of the fairmont and grab one out there... dh did that for us.... we parked off site....

the cab line was huge.. he went outside and snagged a cab instantly.

If worse came to worse you could take the skytrain and be there in 30 min - the sky train entrance is right at the port. Cheaper and probably faster than driving. If you have a ton of luggage it could be a hassle but you don't really have much walking to do so its totally doable.

We had a similar issue and decide to fly in a day before. We stayed at a Days Inn near the airport that was within walking distance of the train. We spent the day in downtown Vancouver. Next morning, we caught the free hotel shuttle back to the airport and got on the Disney transfer
