I'm getting a very small resale contract, which has a different use year from my current contract. It will be treated as a different master contract because it has a different use year.
My understanding is that if I want to make a reservation using two different contracts, I can do so. The reservations will be linked. I will not have to change rooms, assuming that it is the same resort, villa size, category.
Can someone please confirm that I won't have to change rooms? That is important to me.
(I realize that I could transfer points from the small contract to the larger contract, and then make one reservation. But my understanding is that you can't use borrowing if you transfer. You can only transfer current year points; borrowed points cannot be transferred. And after the transfer is accomplished, those points cannot be borrowed. So if I want to borrow points from the next use year from my small contract and use them for my reservation, I can't do it via transferring.)
