Using Banked Points

I should know the answer to this, but believe it or not I have never banked points before; I am always borrowing! Anyway, my use year is August and I banked 2015 points last week into 2016 use year. I wanted to book a reservation (when I can) for a Sept. 2017 trip. Will I be able to use those banked poitns for the 9/2017 trip or will I need to use the banked points before the end of the 2016 use year (August 2017)? TIA

You banked/moved your points from August 2015 to August 2016 UY which is from August 2016 through July 2017. Your Sept 2017 trip is in your 2017 UY so you won't be able to use your banked points.
