Can anyone please tell me how much it is for the unlimited sodas on the western cruise? Also can you get juice, lemonade or water with this too? I was thinking of buying a couple of water bottles to use and refill, but is the water good enough to drink that you get on the boat? Where do you refill, from the sing in the rooms?

I'm not sure about the water, but I know on our 3-day cruise you can go to the drink station and get all the drinks you want, so I would think it would be the same way for the 7-day. I can't remember if there was water and lemonade available at the drink station, but I know there were different kinds of sodas. Also, I think I remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't drink the water from the faucets in the room...reason being that Disney doesn't use the same water for drinking that they use for bathroom use. Actually, I think that might have been posted here somewhere before. If I remember right, the water that Disney uses for drinking is a little more purified then what's used for the bathroom. HTH!!

I don't know if you realize that you can get free soda at one of the stations near the kids pool all the time.

Unfortunately, I don't know the price of the program if you want to be able to get pop anywhere on the ship.

Hi, for the past couple of months now the sodas are free from a drinkstation on deck 9 near the mickey pool, and also in all dining areas. There is a charge for sodas from room service only. The drinkstation are is superb, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks, lemonade, iced tea, trying hard to think thin think. :)

Water on the ship is very adequate in our opinion. They do have a package with so many water bottles. We brought a couple in our carryons and refilled them anywhere we could.

Okay, I am sure this has been discussed many many times. I did my research but still want other people's opinion especially those from the state of Illinois. My DH got his birth certificate a few weeks ago from the state of Illinois health dept. They don't issue BC with raised seals anymore since 1996 or '86. I read this on their website. they have 2 embossed seals one from the state and one from the health dept. in the bottom corners and you can feel it, it's different than the rest of the document, and they mentioned this on their website too. They said it is offical and legal for all legal documents and travel. I am tempted to print off their website stating this information just in case they do give us trouble boarding. What do you all think? I promise this is my last question today, LOL! (Sorry, I posted this as a reply instead of a new thread, aauugghhh!!!!)

There's also a charge when you get served soda at the bar or by a waiter/waitress outside the dining room.

And I'll say it again just because I'm picky...the soda and soft drinks referred to in this thread are not "free".

They're included in the cost of your cruise, which, as my credit cards can no doubt prove, certainly wasn't free. :confused3

Mike, I'm with you on the whole "free" idea. I guess that when I'm on the ship, anything I don't have to pay extra for at the end of the cruise is free!!!

I rarely drink sodas - as in maybe once every couple of months. I usually drink unsweetened tea. The last time I was on a cruise - Feb 2002 Wonder 4 day - they had the "all you could drink" mugs but they didn't have any tea to put in them - just sodas.
I have been considering bringing a couple of gallons of unsweet tea with me on the next cruise - April 2005 Magic 7 day eastern - just so I can refill a bottle to carry with me.
I really don't like the canned teas either - like the lipton lemon.
Any suggestions? Do you think I could talk our room steward into refilling a gallon tea jug every day? Of course, I would show my great appreciation for this extra service at tip time :flower:

I just started posting on these boards about a week ago - I love how helpful everyone is.

Can anyone confirm if the Deck 9 Bev center also has Milk? That is all DD3 drinks. She loves it!

As of October, 2004, the beverage station on deck 9 had milk, various sodas, lemonade, fruit punch, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, water, and hot chocolate. Various sugars and sweeteners as well as stir sticks and cups with lids were available. There was no lemon for the tea, but you could get it free at the bars.

And, as above....it's not "free," it is included in the cruise fare.

Sodas were also included in the dining rooms. Sodas at any of the bars or from room service had a charge attached.

The "unlimited refill" mug service had been discontinued.

Unlimited soda mugs are history.
The only way you have to pay for soda is if you get if from a bar, room service, or a waiter around the pools.
Why anyone would pay for soda when it is free at the beverage station next to the pool is beyond me.

Thanks - if they have unsweet tea at the beverage station I will be all set :-D

Then you're all set! They do have Nestea Unsweetened Iced Tea in the fountain dispensers.

Can you use your own cups to refill at the Beverage Station? I figured if you can that would be another good reason to purchase the refill mugs at the hotel before the cruise.:earsgirl:
Thank you!

You bet, we brought our mugs with us and refilled there a lot.. Much bigger than their cups at the station... :goodvibes
