TV shows you hate but most people like

Sex In The City
Seinfield
Friends
& some older ones like
Mash
Little House on the Prairie
Highway to Heaven

There are many shows I have no desire to watch, but I wouldn't say I hate them- if I haven't seen it, I can't develop hate for it:
Keeping Up with the Kardashians- they have nothing interesting to say
Walking Dead- too scary and gory
Sons of Anarchy- hate crime dramas
Mad Men- not sure, just didn't sound like it would be interesting to me
Orange is the New Black- just didn't seem like a great premise to me

Shows I watched several times and realized I didn't like:
2 1/2 Men- sleazy sex humor
Mom- don't like the premise
CSI- don't like police procedurals or the ick factor
NCIS- same as above
American Idol- I don't get any enjoyment from laughing at bad singers, or watching just 'ok' ones perform
Game of Thrones- bloody and all of my favorite characters died
Hannibal- way too bloody and gross
The Sopranos- don't like crime dramas, and too many people getting whacked!

24
The X Files
Breaking Bad
Any of the Law and Order series

.....Well, pretty much anything that develops a cult following is lost on me. I also don't like violence on tv shows. There's enough in the news.

It's funny but I generally resist watching anything with a cult following..... until years later.

Last summer I watched all of 24 finally, start to finish and loved it.

Over the last couple years I watched all of SVU and Criminal Intent and as I type I'm watching an old Law & Order episode form 1999.

Better late than never?

Any reality dating show, seriously folks have some self respect, Family Guy, and esp. South Park. I hate shows where they make light of or comedy about certain situations I consider abusive and the offender is never really punished.

Two and a Half Men. I hate the Charlie character. For a season it was funny and then it was like, he is awful and they are raising a young boy around that. And why can't a chiropractor afford to ever move out. I liked Seinfeld but couldn't stand anytime George's parents were on. I hate shows based around a person who is to me obnoxious or lacking in values. I don't mind if they make occasional appearances that fit the show but if they are a main part it gets to me.

But see it's the fact that George's parents are so truly heinous that makes it so funny. You watch a season or two of George (before they showed the parents) and wonder how anyone could be.....Well, like GEORGE. Then they show you those two parents and you realize that George never stood a chance and actually turned out pretty good, considering.

Bachelor/Bachelorette
Real Housewives from_____________
Soap Operas
Daytime talk shows

Im not a fan of any reality program, and I do like Mash but thought it was overrated

The only program of those listed so far that I have watched is American Idol. Usually just watch news and the old movie channels.

Lost
Seinfeld
Roseanne
Any NCIS/ CIS or Law and Order type of shows
bachelor type shows.
survivor

Everybody Loves Raymond. I didn't, and never watched an entire episode.

There are many shows I refuse to watch, never having seen a single episode. The premise either doesn't interest me, or actively repulses me. (Orange is the New Black and Mad Men, for example.) But I think that the one show I really wanted to like, but was revolted by, was Game of Thrones. Murder, incest, rape, beheadings, disembowelings, creative tortures shown in graphic detail -- just... No. I don't like snuff porn. I'd rather watch a documentary on butchering hogs. At least then you end up with bacon.

I totally agree! Some of the very BEST episodes had them. The Marble Rye (my favorite episode), The Serenity Now, The Fatigues, I could go on but you get the point.

To me, Frank & Estelle Costanza are absolute classics. I would've watched a spin off of them in a NY minute.

Alas, I love Jerry Stiller. Just his face makes me giggle. :lovestruc

Because he owed his ex wife so much alimony. All women are gold digging harpies that suck all your hard earned cash. Lol, hilarious right? Misogyny humor - groundbreaking.
