Well I just typed this long drawn out report only to have my computer play a trick on me. I think it's back now so here I go again.....
Woke up at 6:30 this morning, 30 minutes before my alarm was to go off (I hate that). I tried to get a few more minutes sleep, but that didn't happen. Plus the baby was kicking me. I guess he was excited too.
My Dad drove us to the Philadelphia airport and the security line was huge. Luckily it moved pretty quickly and from start to finish it only took about 20 minutes. I think this is the part I dread the most. With 2 kids, 3 carry ons, 4 pairs of shoes, a computer, DVD player, stroller, carseat, and a partridge in a pear tree, it was a mini zoo. We made it through okay and I only told off one lady who needs to learn about patience in an airport.
Anyway, the flight left at 11:25, only 10 minutes late and it was a pretty smooth flight. Only on decent to Orlando did we have a few tummy rolls.
We quickly made our way to Magical Express, and got right on a bus (no wait). OKW was it's first stop! Again no waiting.... Walked right up to check in at 3pm and was greeted by a CM who was as friendly as a lump of coal. Our room wasn't ready yet so we watched tv for about 5 minutes and I called, and our room was ready. We scored a nice location near the HH and it was close enough to walk, so no bell services. When DH opened the door, mousekeeping was still in there. She invited us in and we sat on the balcony while she finished. I sent DH to Goods for some late lunch. Both kids had the new chicken nuggets and we both had cheeseburgers. Fancy.....
With tummys full, we put the kids down for a late nap. They really needed it after such a big day. We want back out on the balcony and enjoyed our view of the 7th green. While sitting there, 2 drake mallards came up and DH fed them a few leftover fries. The heat was making us sleepy, so we went in for naps too.
We woke at dinner time, and strolled over to Olivia's. We are able to walk right in were seated right away. Cari was our server and she was very sweet to the kids. DD had the mickey pasta, DS had pizza, I had a side ceasar salad with chicken, and DH had the member special (pot roast).
FOOD PORN!!!!!!!!!
This was a side salad and it was HUGE!!
With our DVC discount our meal was only $33, plus tip. Not bad considering we are in Disney.
We stopped at the closet they call an arcade and played a few games. This place is really small. I barely had room to turn around. Then we came back to baths and bed.
Tomorrow it's HS in the morning and MK in the evening. The weather is expected to be hot and steamy at about 90 degrees. UGH!! I'll be sure to take a lot of rest breaks!
Catch you then.....
