What is it, out of curiosity....?View attachment 138106 i have a homemade face wash that I want to take to my upcoming DLR vacation. I'm planning on putting it in my carry on in case of any issues. The pic is above, what do you think? Will it cause trouble? The size of the container is 1.18 oz.
Interesting!1/4 cup Raw honey , 1-2 tablespoons 100% natural calcium bentonite clay, 5 drops 100% pure tea tree oil, 3 drops 100% pure lavender oil. I mixed it in a small wide mouth mason jar, then transferred some of it to my travel container. I scoop some out with a small salt/appetizer spoon. It can be used as a mask, but it's my everyday face cleaner.
Interesting!
Is it because you're allergic to store bought cleansers or just because you like a natural face wash?
That's true. I wasn't thinking. We have travel bottles we use that don't identify the contents.I think you'll be fine if it's in your 3-1-1 bag. Lots of people put creams in travel containers.
We had a lot of issues with my husbands inhaler also. Never an issue here in Aus... But then, we don't have to take shoes, belts and outerwear off at security, and we also can get all the way to the boarding gate without a ticket... Much easier down here to be in an airport.Ha! True! I got pulled aside, searched and patted down because of my asthma inhaler

Yeah, but I guess it's all for a decent reason, so it doesn't bother me too much, it's just annoying to take everything off.Well, like they say "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch". One crazy person had a bomb in his shoe. It can be a little bothersome, mostly because at the same airport, I have different experiences.

When we travelled through the USA, I wore thongs (flip flops), and an intimo outfit of leggings, a long tunic and long wrap, it's all micro modal, comfortable and not thick enough to be forced to take it off
At least it's only the outerwear you need to take offwe don't have to take shoes, belts and outerwear
PJWeaver - Thank you for your service!I often roll my eyes at younger people who wear pajamas in public, but thats how I fly now; pajama pants and a tee shirt. My carry on has my real clothing. I avoid anything questionable in my carry on, and njust before screening put my wallet and keys in it.
In a bit of irony, many US airlines allow early boarding for members of the military if 'in uniform', however we have been repeatedly told NOT to fly in uniform as it may make us a higher target in the event of an attack, unless we absolutely need to.

I would disagree. I don't think there is any good reason to make millions of travelers remove their shoes just because one nut job tried to light his shoe on a flight 14 years ago. What would we all be subjected to today if he had something hidden in his underwear instead? It is for good reason
