Travel out of Disney to get hair done?

Has anyone left Disney hotels to visit one of the salons Disney suggests to get hair done for the wedding? I have family that works for Disney and have no problem driving me around when I am there. Is it cheaper than having them come to your hotel room?? I would rather not spend $80 to get my hair done if possible!

I understand...80$ is pretty expensive!! I have heard of people doing this and have been very happy. As for the price, I dont know but I would guess that it is less expensive!!

My girls and I went to Salon Salon, which is literally right off Disney property. Their typical price is between $45-$65, depending on the length of the hair and the complexity of the hair-do. We had so so so much fun at the salon. I couldn't recommend them enough.
