Transferring on on-board booking to a 2013 Med cruise

We are Silver Castaways (aka "the same as the general public").

We booked a dummy cruise on board last August, with the plan of changing it to the summer of 2013 , and hoping for a Mediterranean cruise, which, of course, we all know IS finally going to happen.

My question is how to do this?
I know my booking time opens at 8 am EST on Thursday, January 26.
Do I have to CALL DCL?
Can I do it online?

What is the best option, for those of you who have done this?

If you have a TA, just let them handle it. Otherwise, I suspect you'll have to call DCL.

If DCL has their ducks in a row, you will be able to make the change online Thursday morning. They have managed to do that twice now, but there are no guarantees. You may want to dial DCL and try to make the change while you are holding for a CM.
