Touring plans question

Hey guys, we are leaving in 4 days for disney yippee. We decided to use touring plans this year since the crowd levels are gonna be so crazy. When we entered the info on the first day, it gave us about a 90 minute gap where we do absolutely nothing. Is that normal? Seems like no reason for that big of down time

Is that not the time allotted to wait in line and ride the attraction?

I'm assuming you used "optimize" instead of "evaluate"? Best thing is to use that for starters and then when you have some weird things (like crisscrossing the park, or a long gap, etc.) to fill it in with something else (look at what rides are nearby) and then use evaluate. Most likely you had a later FPP or attraction that had to go in a certain time slot so it's just showing you that you'll have down time and should add more to your plan. Or try to hit optimize again and see if you get something you like better (note - you can't go back if you do this so save the current plan if you like it).

If you have a 90 minute gap of downtime in your touring plan, that means that you have the opportunity to do more attractions! See if you can add one or two attractions to your plan and re-optimize. Or, just take the time to rest or to walk around and enjoy the parks without riding anything.
