I like the rules for TOW the way they are now.

I don't see them changing the rules anytime soon. I don't think they would or even could open it up to all DVC members. The doors are locked, and access is with a BLT room key. The logistics of changing that would be way too difficult.

We have enjoyed several evenings at TOTW. Sometimes, we ordered the appetizers/desserts plus drinks, once or twice we just went up and watched the fireworks, and then had a drink. Always we paid money.

This is a great way to end the day, and I would hate the lose it.

I think once BLT sells out, they will take away the lounge from us members and start to use it for private events.

Not to be contrary but, I don't think it'd be that difficult. I bet they could add whatever it takes it to DVC members KTTW cards pretty easily.

Question, we will be staying at the BWV for two days before we visit our new home BLT. will we bellowed to visit TOTW the day before we check in? My guess is no.

No. They require to show your KTTW which shows that you are staying at the resort.

But how do DVC members not staying at BLT get into the building? You need a BLT KTTW card to access the security system. I have mixed feelings about Disney removing the locked doors, because I remember people roaming the halls when the system could be overridden with the handicapped button. There were lots of people trying to see the fireworks and making lots of noise.

Disney now limits the viewing platform for California Grill to guests with dinner reservations at CG because of the unruly crowds. Even the check in for dinner is on a lower floor and they escort you up the elevator.

I think something needs to be done to keep TOTWL open after BLT sells out, because right now it's not earning enough to cover the expense of operating it.

I could be daydreaming, but in the beginning, wasn't there someone that used to be there when you got off the elevator at TOTW to make sure you were DVC staying there when they very first opened? I think they ought to get rid of the secure access to BLT...I mean, none of the other DVCs have that, and then just limit TOTW to all DVC members. What IS the purpose to the secured access anyway? Just curious!

Last year, we spent 8 nights at BLT. We enjoyed 3 nights at the BLT lounge.

Service was great, the food ok.

The best part was watching Hallo-Wishes from the viewing deck. Children and adults were in awe.

I truly hope the powers that be keep this as a perk for BLT members or at least DVC primary/original owners.

I loved being able to go up there when I stayed at BLT, and am looking forward to hopefully still going up there on an upcoming trip.
