Top 100 U.S. Movies, how many have you seen?

There are 52 that I've seen in entirety and a bunch of other ones that I've seen parts of.

ETA: I've never seen any part of these.
4. "Raging Bull," 1980.
11. "City Lights," 1931.
12. "The Searchers," 1956.
18. "The General," 1927.
29. "Double Indemnity," 1944.
38. "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre," 1948.

95. "The Last Picture Show," 1971.
96. "Do the Right Thing," 1989.
97. "Blade Runner," 1982.

I've seen 74, and was very disappointed to see Star Wars drop out of the top 10.

Number 13? That's insane.

Of my personal top ten, the list was missing:
The Quiet Man
Field of Dreams
Empire Strikes Back
The Magnificent Seven

I've seen 62 of them. :) Some of the others are so familiar to me, I feel like I've seen alot more.

And for what it's worth, anyone who has not seen Double Indemnity or Swing Time, do so ASAP! Double Indemnity is one of the best film noirs ever created and you just cannot go wrong with Barbara Stanwyck and Billy Wilder. And Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers' dancing is just sublime and Swing Time is the best of their 10 films.

Wow...I'm surpised: I've seen 40! Mostly that's because DH and I love old films and we are always watching classic movies on tv.

84.. and we hardly ever go to the theater to see a first run movie! I do, however, love watching TCM and fox movies.

That's very impressive!

Its either impressive or suggests I have no life. Seriously, I'm a real movie buff and love to watch all kinds of movies. I get exposed to lots of movies because I work at a University in a division that has a Film school. Lots of opportunities for screenings of all kinds of mainstream, indie and art house films.
