How do I get a ticker? I see where you can create one but how do you get it to post?

When you create your ticker, you have about 3 choices to post it, depending on where you're posting it (here or other message boards). Use the one that starts with "url".

where do we add them? is it just at the end of the post as I did above or somewhere else that we can add them permanently? any help would be great

Go to the tab at the top that says "User CP." From that screen, there will be several options on the left side of the page. Choose the one to Edit Signature. You can put your ticker URL code there and it will be on every post you make. Just like where your "If you keep on believing.." tag-line is. Just go down below that and insert the URL code.

The code you posted isn't the entire code you need to get the ticker to show up. Mine looks like this (with some ??? added so that the code shows up):

ETA: it won't show the code for me. It starts with Make sure you get the whole string in the signature.

Score. I figured it out just as I got your post. I wasn't taking the whole thing you are right. Thanks for the quick reply. These boards are great. The complete lack of keyboard warriors is great. a community that helps others instead of attacking them.
