Thriller Powerboat...Nassau excursion?

Saw this listed on the Disneycruise website. Is this new? Has anyone ever done it?

Here is what the site says:

Thriller Powerboat (1.5 hours)
The thrill of a lifetime! The excitement for guests ages 5 and over begins with an escorted walk of approximately 15 minutes from the ship to Thriller, a state-of-the-art, custom-built powerboat. Once on board, you'll enjoy an approximate 45-minute narrated ride through Nassau Harbor and around Paradise Island. Highlights of the tour include waterfront views of private islands, lighthouses, famous hotels as your friendly guide describes each point of interest. With plush seating and cool music this is a great experience for the whole family. Make sure you bring a camera! After the tour, your guide will escort you on the approximate 15 minute walk back to the ship.

Adult Price: $39 (ages 10 and above)
Child Price: $29 (ages 5-9)

They also list a Teen version.

A CM told me that since they discontinued the Teen Junkanoo Jam catamaran cruise in Nassau that this was it's replacement. DS was upset to hear this as he really enjoyed the Jam!

We did this a long time ago (they offered it for a while, stopped it, and apparently have started up again). It was lots of fun; some high-speed stretches, coupled with slower periods to look at things like Blue Lagoon etc.

I just got back from the 3 day on the Wonder on the 10th. Some of my friends went on this shore excursion and seemed to really enjoy it. Definately something different to do. They said there was a variety of people/ages on board.

Glad to hear that people have liked this excursion in the past. We will be trying this in a couple of weeks with ages ranging from 5-60.Think it will be exciting. I also like the fact that it is a relatively quick excursion and we can get back to the boat for some rest and relaxation.
