So, I see that FD is being offered to Visa holders. Unfortunately, it does not apply to stays at Fort Wilderness campsites. Why? Not really sure. When reservations was called and asked all she could say was, "That's just how it is."
Now, we had planned this trip in Septmeber regardless of whether or not FD was going to be offered. But I think its really unfair of Disney to single out those of us staying at campsites. We are paying the same to stay there as if we were staying at POP and we paid the same for our park tickets. The only difference is that while all other resort guests are enjoying free food we will be paying for ours. We were even willing to pay for the upgrade to the regular DP instead of just QS.
Oh well, maybe we will just cancel our trip and go to Universal to see Harry Potter instead.
