Let's list some of the best things to do outside of the theme parks -

1. Mini-Golf
2. Dining at the resorts
3. Pools and pool hopping

what's on your list?

We will do all the things on you list during our September trip but here are 3 more:

1, Boat hire at Bay Lake.

2, Trip over to FW -see the animals etc.

3, Go for a massage at GF. (Not sure if the spa there has reopened.)

1) rent a boat and cruise the seven seas lagoon.

2) a round of golf at the Palms course at WDW.

3) enjoy a Dole Whip while swinging in a hammock at the Poly beach.

pony rides at fw for 5 and under, horseback rides and wagon rides for older
sitting on the beach to watch electric pageant

1. Going to DTD, shopping and enjoying a relaxing lunch at Fultons having stone crabs.

2. DH loves to relax in the lobby at GF and listen to the piano player.

3. Exploring the different resorts and if there is a good football game on, staying at their pool bar, having a drink and watching the game, just relaxing. We are empty nesters so we have that advantage of just hanging out.

4. Mini-golf.

5. Spa time - if I could only do it every trip!

There is so much! These top our list though.

  1. If weather permits, Sammy Duvalls. My kids love the tubing!
  2. Ice Cream at Beaches and Cream with a surrey bike ride at the Boardwalk
  3. Mini Golf - The winter course is our favorite

Touring Gaylord Palms Resort
Monorail/drinking tour of resorts CR, Poly, and GF
Walking tour of EPCOT area resorts.
Pool days at whatever resort we are at.
ESPN Club on the Bordwalk for the Chicken Wings, they are the size of Turkey Wings.
Walk from VWL to FW and back.
Bicycle around FW.

Sit on the porch at OKW and watch the golfers.

Take an afternoon nap.

In the evening sitting on the outside patio of the HOB listening to the music with a drink in hand. (we are empty nesters)

My wife loves the afternoon teas at GF

I like the 6:30 AM hot tub followed by a morning walk around the epcot resorts seeing the sunrise.

3 more days we will be at the BC!

-laying by the BWV quiet pool sipping a margarita (surprise delivery by my personal waiter, DH - no tip required:thumbsup2)
or just napping by my favorite pool in all of WDW: the BWI pool :cloud9: it's the only WDW pool i've found that is actually quiet, and the surroundings are akin to a maxfield parrish painting
- walking from the BWV to play mini-golf (love both the walk and the mini-golf)
- the walk to/fro EPCOT or DHS. we don't even enter the parks sometimes, the walk is just so serene and beautiful
- browsing AKL shops, sitting in the lobby, looking out over the savannah
- taking the monorail, eating at poly (kona), walking the beach, basking in the unique poly scent and decor
- sipping wine, watching Illuminations from our BWV balcony
- dining outside at big river grille, watching the passersby, soaking in the atmosphere
- just hanging around the BW in general :)
- drive a watermouse around 7 seas lagoon (FANTASTIC!)
- walking around the GF, sitting in the lobby and listening to the piano player(when it is quieter)

things i want to do:
- jog the BW in early AM
- splitsville
- go back to raglan road (LOVED the music and dancers!)

1) Dinning or just checking out other resorts
2) Hanging by pool
3) go to OLD TOWN
4) Rent a Harley and go for a evening ride.

Too much to list tons of things to do

- Renting a pontoon boat and sailing around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake
- Resort Hopping
- Going to DTD and walking from Marketplace to DTD Westside and having lunch somewhere in between plus a visit to DisneyQuest.
- Just relaxing around our resort pool with no plans at all in mind
- Going over to Boardwalk (at night) and walking around and watching the Street performers

Some of the things I've done and really enjoyed:

* Brunch at Boma followed by a visit to the Savannah.
* Dinner at 'Ohana followed by a monorail round-trip to Epcot and back.
* Walking between WL and Ft. Wilderness.
* Monorail pub crawl.
* The OKW<->DTD boat, plus a meal either at Olivias (preferred) or a DTD location.
* A runDisney event (I did the ESPN 5K, would love to do a half marathon).

Some others I want to do:
* An hour or two skiing/tubing with Sammy Duvall.
* Archery at Ft. Wilderness
* Dine with an Imagineer @ Flying Fish (though I might do the Brown Derby one instead)
* Dine with an Animal Specialist @ Sanaa
* V&A Chef's Table (we are saving this for college graduation(s))
* Swolphin pub crawl (something other than the Standard Disney Drink Menu)
* Splitsville

And, something I really miss:
* An evening in PI at the Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer's Club

Wow. Those are big fish.

1. A few laps around the EPCOT resorts over to DHS. One of my favorite places to run in the world.
2. Watching the kids enjoy the magicians at BWV.
3. A cold beverage walking around world showcase.
4. WDW marathon. Nothing beats running through all 4 parks.
