I have a BOG breakfast reservation for Dec. 30 at 8:00 but see that Crystal Palace is accepting reservations for as early as 7:00. Park opening is 9:00. Should I switch?

Park hours the last couple years have changed to 8 am open with 7 am emh each day between Christmas and New Years, so just know that what looks like a pre park open right now may not be in the end, but no guarantee the hours will end up like that this year.

We have moved to Florida. I have not updated in 2 months, so We've arrived. Dh and I both have jobs. I started working a week before he did. I am not acclimating well. My family has drug me through the ringer over private matters and I just can't win. House Hunting. SIGH. It's one big waiting game. NOTHING has gone the way we planned it too. Also, nothing I can do to change it.

I hope everyone has had a great summer and has their back to school shopping done. My MIL bought our kids which was SO not needed but, very nice of her.

I didn't see any of ya'll talking much about Minnie's Holiday Dining at Hollywood & Vine. Did any of ya'll have any success booking it? I was able to rearrange a couple of my days, and fit it in on 12/8 at 5:40pm for our party of 3, with the Fantasmic VIP seating! So excited!

I am feeling the lack of planning needed as well! My daughter and I made a countdown chain yesterday, even though I had already made a countdown calendar earlier

I'm going to do a countdown chain around and over my desk at work at the 100 Days mark, which is coming up in a couple of weeks! (I'm a travel agent, so I can get away with it at the office!)

Now I am working on my spreadsheets again, and thinking about making a little schedule type book for my daughter to carry in the parks when we go. She is getting to be quite the little tour guide in the parks - even though we have been several times, and have the parks pretty well down, she still insists on stopping to grab a map at each park entrance, going off to the side, asking where we are going first, and then wants to find it on the map and "guide" the family there - I think my tendencies to want to know what we are doing and when may be rubbing off on her a bit

Officially in for December 15-21st! Super excited! Was originally planning on an October trip but it just didn't work out the way we wanted. My boyfriend and I went last year in December so we decided to do it again! We definitely enjoyed the Christmas vibe and he appreciates the cooler weather (we also go in May, I love the warm weather better!) we will be staying at All-Star Sports, we also stayed there last December and enjoyed it well enough.

DH and I are booked at the CR in a Bay Lake View room for Nov 29-Dec 4! We plan on golfing the 30th while the parks are still busy and then start up in DHS on Monday! Attending MVMCP for the first time on Dec 2! Got all of our ADRs at 180+10 - CRT, Sci Fi and CG all for dinner, Chef Mickeys Breakfast, and CLP dinner package for Via Napoli with 8:45 show with NPH! Can't wait!!

I love getting the early flight because that means more time in Disney!!

Our flight this time leaves Philly at 5:30 a.m.! We'll have to leave for the airport at 3:30 in the morning, but oh boy! To be on property by nine is unbelievable. And we got a return flight home at 10:30 p.m, so we'll have more time in the MK until we have to leave. December 4th-9th are our dates and we are so pumped!

We were booked at Pop for Nov 28-Dec 5 but I got nervous and canceled. Now I'm considering booking again. I was reluctant for several reasons. I'm a teacher on leave for 4 months so my pay will be lower this year and we are also booked on a DCL next August with extended family which is a huge investment already- it feels irresponsible. We just had a baby so we have a 6yo a 4yo and a will be 4 month old. Worried 4 month old will make it all too difficult. We plan to drive. 6yo will miss a week of school.

Reasons I can't let the idea of the trip go- It's the one time before I retire that we can go non peak and also enjoy Christmas in Disney non peak. We are always more on the conservative side with spending and do have the money for the trip- worst case is we end up canceling the cruise which would stink but we can do a cruise any summer. Because I had an awful pregnamcy we did nothing at all this summer and the thought of having no vacation for another year is rough.

I thought it would be amazing to secretly set up most of our Christmas tree the night before Thanksgiving and put out our elf with a note that Santa sent Christmas present a little early and we would be going to WDW leaving the wee hours of Black Friday morning.
