I'm so happy! *ahem* Looks like this was an awesome trip so far! Your Belle costume for MNSSHP was fantastic, I barely even saw a difference between the authentic ones made by Disney and yours. Took me a second to figure out why people mistook you for Alice, but then I remembered. I guess when you can distinguish Disney characters so well you forget about certain things lol

Can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip!

A couple quick comments - I'm sure I told you this on Twitter, but I am so so happy you loved Raglan Road =D That's going to be our first stop right after we check into SSR next month. I can't wait to go back and get that bread pudding!

Speaking of things I may or may not have told you before, can I just say I love your wardrobe and I wish I had all of it in my size?

We've stayed at CBR once, and I'm not sure we'd go back anytime soon, mainly because of the bus situation.

This fish kind of looks like he could be a Muppet.

Your two meets with Mickey and Minnie were awesome! I love the Pirate/Princess costume, I feel like you don't see that one as often as the magician/witch costumes. And I love all the characters that appear in the parade that you very rarely ever see in the Parks, especially Kanga&Roo!

One day I will plan a WDW trip during F&W since all of your selections looked amazing. I may camp out in front of the Canada booth and just eat the soup and filet though.... they may need to tell me to move along lady!

Artist Point is so amazing, it's so quiet and peaceful there, and the food is so good! I'm really surprised it's not more popular, because it's so beautiful and yummy!

Yay Magic Kingdom! That's so cool that you met up with a friend from Twitter! I'm still somewhat new to Twitter but I love that there are just tons of Disney people on there! I have to follow you, especially since you will be doing the DCP soon!

Isn't that shop in Storybook Circus amazing??? I really didn't think I'd like that area at all, but I think it's so adorable, and that shop is so perfect...I love that you think it's just this normal place to buy t-shirts and stuff and right in the middle there is a little area to get snacks...like cupcakes!

I didn't eat the marrow haha. I just put it on top of it for flavor and then you take it off! The waiter said that a lot of people don't even touch it anyway though. So it's a personal choice. And I love the berry cobbler SO MUCH!!

Real Life Update #1: New Year's Eve Trip and DCP Update!
December 24th, 2012

Hi everyone! I just wanted to do a little real life update and check in with you all before I'm off to Disney!

First off - MERRY CHRISTMAS to every single one of you and your families. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and get to spend lots of time with your loved ones. I wish you all a blessed Christmas and New Year, filled with health, happiness, and a little bit of magic!

For Christmas Eve, I am spending the day at my Nana's house. Then Christmas day I am going to my Grandma's house. Then on December 26th.... THE DISNEY ROAD TRIP BEGINS!

I thought I'd give you a little pre-trip update so you know what's going on. My life is transforming before my eyes and before you know it I am going to be immersed in the magic 100% of the time! (as opposed to 99.999% ) I CAN'T EVEN WAIT!

Okay, so we are taking December 26th and 27th (and the morning of the 28th) to drive down to Disney. It takes approximately 20 hours to get there, so we're going to break it up a little bit.

Now here's a little surprise.... when we get there we are checking in at..... THE BEACH CLUB!

We added two extra nights onto our trip to stay at the Yacht Club's sister resort!!

GUYS, THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!!!! I have been wanting to stay at the Beach Club since I was in middle school. And even though it's only two days, I AM FINALLY STAYING THERE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!!!!! Ahh I'm so freaking excited. You don't even know.

So then after two nights, we are going to switch over to the Yacht Club and enjoy the rest of our vacation!

Here's a little bit of a spoiler, but the restaurants I have planned as of now are:

Beaches and Cream, Cape May Cafe breakfast, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish, Grand Floridian Cafe, Cape May Cafe dinner, La Hacienda, Kona Cafe, Via Napoli, and Ohana!

**Restaurants are subject to change. My family is very indecisive.

I am REALLY looking forward to this! AHH it's my reward for finishing that dreadfully crazy semester, spending New Year's together as a family, as well as ONE LAST TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD AS A GUEST. AHHHH MY LIFE.

Once it's over, we are flying home. We're leaving my car there so I can use it during my DCP. (aka a main reason why we are taking this trip!)

Then I come home for a few weeks and PACK PACK PACK. I'll say goodbye to Preston, my friends, and my family, and IT'S OFF TO DISNEY UNTIL AUGUST!!!

I still don't know what I'm going to do for reporting wise on my DCP. I was thinking of maybe doing one long ongoing trip report. But we will see! That might be the easiest option. Let me know if you think of anything better.

Chapter 12: A Trolley Show Dream Come True!
October 7th, 2012

We woke up this morning and went to the Magic Kingdom! It was our last full day so we wanted to start it out at our favorite place!

The castle looked especially beautiful that morning. It was just welcoming me home. DON'T WORRY CASTLE, I'M MOVING THERE IN 29 DAYS! IT'S FINE.

We went right to the Main Street Bakery and got breakfast sandwiches. They were SO delicious. Ahh I could really go for one of those right now. Is it weird that I crave breakfast food at 2 in the morning? Hahaha college kid problems.

We finished and went outside. The Trolley Show was going on right outside of the Bakery! All of the performers had their fall costumes on and it was adorable.

We stood at the edge of the pavement and watched the show! During the dance break, one of the guys came over and asked a little girl if she wanted to dance. She said no, (what!?) so he asked her sister! Then she said no too! (DOUBLE WHAT!?)

SO THEN HE ASKED ME AND OF COURSE I SAID YES!!!!!

He took me out into Main Street and spun me around and we danced! He said, "you're a natural! Have you taken classes before?" I told him I was a theater major and he said "that explains it!"

It was SUCH a magical moment. I have always wanted to be in the Trolley Show (and I still do!) and for a few seconds of my life, I got to live out that dream. I was ecstatic after it happened - it was just another one of those perfect moments!!

Sadly, it all happened so fast and my Mom was unable to get a picture.. but that's alright. I will never ever forget it! Here is a picture of my dance partner:

After that was over, we went into the shops on Main Street. My Nana had won a big jackpot at the casino a few weeks ago, so she gave my Mom and I some spending money. We both knew what we wanted to spend it on - DOONEY AND BOURKES!

I didn't get mine on this day, but my Mom found one that she really loved. It's the 40th anniversary vintage style. They are actually discontinuing it soon, so good thing she got it! It's adorable. She had been looking for a new purse for so long and now she is FINALLY satisfied with one. Leave it to Disney to solve our problems!

Once she bought her new purse, we went down Main Street and took a bunch of pictures!

I love our Mother Daughter trips!

This picture is perfection. I am so glad we took it! It sums up my life, dreams, goals, and aspirations. I'm glad that one of my dreams are finally coming true and I get to start my College Program so soon! Thank you Disney for filling my life with so much hope, motivation, happiness, and for telling me all of my wishes can come true if I believe!

Like I said, ESPECIALLY beautiful!

We stopped in Fantasyland and grabbed Peter Pan's Flight fastpasses. We got some surprise fastpasses for PhilharMagic, too! Then I had to take my Mom over to see Storybook Circus for her first time ever!

IT'S JUST SO ADORABLE!

We went into the gift shop and my Mom loved it just as much as I did! It's SO CUTE! I am really impressed with how well this whole area turned out.

I took pictures of the snacks too, because who doesn't love a place to buy a cupcake in the middle of a gift shop!?

Then we made our way over to the character meet and greet area! I had to photograph all of the wonderful details surrounding the building! Disney you did such a great job!

I love the Dooney & Bourke style your mom got! Of all the Disney styles they've released, that has been one of my favorites, along with the one that has the Mickey balloons on the black background.

I agree about the picture you took with you facing that castle - even without seeing your face, it still has a way of capturing your spirit.

I can't wait to see Storybook Circus! I just love how much time they spent on the details to make it an immersive environment. Also - can it be 2014 already, not just so the Mine Train is completed, but so those crains are no longer all over the place?
