Go to "My Disney Vacation" on the Disney World website and there should be a place called "Online Check In" or "Check-in Online" to enter your information. :)

Let us know how it all works out!

 YAY for paying off your trip.

Garden Grill is my favorite I spent 3 weeks checking the website every 30 minutes until I was able to get in for my Birthday. The food is amazing and the character interaction can't be beat.

I have been back and forth about Garden Grill. Now I'm think we should go. So many dining choices.. so little time.

This isn't necessarily a Pop specific question but we ARE staying @Pop...
Our flight doesn't get in until after midnight, ME is aware of this but my concern is checking in so late that I won't get my request (connecting rooms with my parents who don't arrive & check in until later in the day.)
I plan on faxing my request 5 days prior.
Should I check in online?
:surfweb:
Any tips, suggestions would be appreciated! :cutie:

Here is my thinking...or 2 cents....lol...Ok, I know there is a joke there....

Last year I stayed at ASMu for 2 nights, arrived after midnight....had the furthest room out there...somewhere in Country Fair...could have been Nashville.....anyway...the front desk does not seem to be to accomodating at that time of night...

Earlier in May, I did the online check in for a split stay, did the online check in for both....super easy and our rooms were ready by 1 pm (at BCV and VWL)

I would vote for the online check in...I am only assuming here....but perhaps the room assignor goes through all the reservations for that day, and assigns rooms accordingly.

One never knows....but I would do the online check in...especially with the late arrival!

Fax cant hurt either!

On another POP note....I changed my res this morning, we are now coming in a day earlier! SO 5 nights at Pop for the Holidays:)

HI Everyone!

Just paid for my trip in Sept!! I am really excited! ... The thing I'm most excited for is dinner at the Crystal Palace! Is that lame? - two adults doing a character meal....

I just think its going to be a lot of fun! We are actually also doing the Garden Grill.

Staying at Pop again (of course!) And we are going to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour this time!

YeaY:cheer2:

We too just paid off our trip for September this morning...yeah....:cool1:

I feel so bad to be wishing the summer away, although our weather here has not been too summer like. But still I can not wait to go...it seems we count down to the 90 adr window...then countdown to the 45 day mark for payments...and now we are awaiting the 30 day countdown! Nothing like wishing time away.

My DH and I went to Disney last September without our kids and did 2 character meals then and still had a blast. The character still interact with you and still sign autographs and everything. We did Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree (when it was still a character meal, I will miss it this trip :sad1:

Have fun and don't feel silly, Disney is all about being a kid again...even if you are not with any.:dance3:

Just called Disney Cruise and had them take me off the list to go on a 7 night Eastern Dec 4th next year :headache: Will do that another time.

Could not sleep last night because I was thinking about my 2 daughter's who are in Mississippi going to college. I am getting ready to take my 2nd solo trip to the "World" and was thinking about the Cruise. I just had to make plans not to go on the cruise because once again I was thinking of my daughter's.

Here is what I will be doing when I come back in Oct.

Will book again the Pop Century for Dec 13th till Dec 20th next year and will be taking my youngest daughter (19 when we go) this will be her first time to Disney and to the Pop. I am so excited for her to get the pin that says "My first time to Disney World" and show her all the fun stuff I have done for the past 2 years. I am going to suprise her with the swim with the In depth dolphin's tour. I am so excited I can't wait.

I will be telling her this christmas...In her box I will be putting all kinds of stuff in there from my trip this sept. like park maps, Pop Century stuff and list goes on.

If she and I get along this mom/daughter trip then she and I will for sure go on the disney cruise.

Oh!My other daughter does not like to travel, plus she is start her life as an adult. One day I will get her to go some place with me. She like Michigan.

I heard from someone (they weren't sure either) that they thought POP had the Twinkie Tiramisu again -but they were calling it Twinkle. Can anyone confirm?

If they did bring it back (they removed because of transfats) it may be something they make themselves, there fore it might be called twinkle because of copyright laws? Possibly?

If no one knows.......I can report back when I come back.

Just got back on Monday night. I did not see the Twinkie Tiramisu anywhere with any name. Tried the tie-dye cheesecake this trip though!!

Here's a pix of the sign for online check in at Pop

This was when it first strated in May!1 It was super easy then but I am wondering as more people know about it is it busier ????

The online check in line was significantly shorter when we checked in last week but......there was only 1 CM working that line as opposed to 4 CMs working the regular check-in. I still think it was quicker though.

Yes, the signs for online check in are not super big and easy to miss. I got into the online check in line, (along with 10 others)! there was no on on the regular check in line so the CM that was managing the lines and he put me over w/ a regular CM and that CM just walked down and picked up my packet when I told her I did online check in. It was no problem and it did go much quicker!

Oh, also you might want to think ahead about who you would like to have charging abilities on their KTTW. It's one of the few things you have to do w/the CM when you arrive.

Have you ever ordered the customized maps from the Disney Website? They are really neat! Just go to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/myVacation/customizedMaps/index?id=CustomizedMapsFlashPage

What is the procedure for picking up a package that has been mailed to you at Pop or delivered by net grocer or garden grocer? I was reading on another thread that this is not as easy as I thought and that the policy at Disney resorts on this has recently changed. I read yesterday that now there's some kind of handling fee and it's stored at a remote location and takes lots of time to get????? Has anyone done this kind of thing recently at Pop and if so how did it go? Is it worth it? I had planned on using net grocer to deliver some breakfast bars and water...Thanks for any input. Also if someone can suggest a better delivery to use, I would appreciate some guidance in this as we have never done this before...thanks:flower3:

Hello everyone! Who on this site book using a TA or do you just book online at disneyworld.com?

Hello everyone! Who on this site book using a TA or do you just book online at disneyworld.com?

In the past I've always booked online through Disney but for our Sept trip I used a TA. I regret that decision! It is so much easier to do it yourself! I have to wait on her when I want any changes, requests etc and if you use a TA you can't do the 90+10 day online adrs. In the future I will forego the TA and go back to using WDW online travel.

I've done both - booked myself and used a TA. It depends on how much time I want to devote to the details.

If you get a good TA, she/he is worth their weight in gold! They will watch for discounts and automatically apply them. I give my TA my AP info, any pin codes I have, etc.

A good TA will also stay on top of your ADRs - they can book the 90+10 and will be on top of booking early a.m. on your 90th day. I give my TA a list of desired ADRs, party size, dates and times. If she couldn't get exactly what I wanted, she will keep trying and almost always comes through for me.

TAs are also helpful in planning special occasions - they have resources not available to the general public.

However, if you are going to use a TA, I STRONGLY recommend using one who specializes in Disney vacation planning. I've found that I actually know more than the average TA. Generally speaking, a non-specialist is pretty worthless.

As I said before, a Certified Disney Vacation Planner is worth their weight in gold.

We have requested top floor rooms at Pop. Can anyone tell me about the timing of Mousekeeping? I am traveling with a 16 month old so we plan on coming back to the room early afternoon for nap time and I am hoping that our room will have been done by then. If they haven't been, I will put out the do not disturb sign, but will they leave towels or will I have to call for some? Thanks!
