Haha yeah when he actually makes expressions it's pretty funny otherwise he just looks stoic in pictures.
Those fireworks are stunning! And the castle lit up at night, just gorgeous. I do wish the castle at Disneyland was larger, the one at WDW seems so majestic.
I guess no one can compete with Cinderella's castle! Although I heard the Shanghai Disneyland castle is supposed to be the biggest of them all and represent all the princesses. I would love to see that!
I love how BOG looks so elegant, eventhough people dining are probably just sitting down wearing tshirts and shorts etc - which, of course, is what you would expect of a restaurant in the middle of an amusement park, no one wants to walk around in heels and ballgowns lol
Yeah it's nice decor inside, the theming is really well done. Although it doesn't feel as formal as you think it does, because in each room there is a wall which has fountain drink machines, and silverware, for the lunch crowd which is quick service.
They 'grey' stuff makes me giggle every time I read a trip report where someone includes it and a photo - it honestly looks odd but apparently EVERYONE loves it
It's the oddest thing. It tastes like cookies n cream-flavored whipped cream. I think they finely ground the oreo cookies so when they blend it it creates a grey base. It's good though!

Such a great night...BOG dinner followed by monorail and SE...and illuminations and an easy trip back to the Poly...sigh...I want to be at the Poly lol or any monorail resort lol
I know...we're spoiled by the monorail. Now it will be hard to stay anywhere else! It was a great day and night!

Love the convenience of Poly to MK and the TTC for Epcot. I miss that staying at other resorts. Great pics, especially inside Spaceship Earth.
Thanks! Yeah it'll be hard to not be at a monorail resort next time. Hopefully we can keep renting DVC points to be able to stay in those resorts!

Great dinner at BOG! We really enjoyed our meal there, too. I had that Sauteed Shrimp and Scallops and it was really good. Did your DH ask for it without the sauce or outside of the pastry or did they change it? Because it would normally be in the puff pastry and had this creamy sauce on it.
I think they changed it because the first time I went a few years ago with my sister, they had the sauce and the seafood in the pastry. But now they seemed to serve it in a little serving bowl with the phff pastry on the side. Either way it was good!
You got some really good IllumiNations pics, I can never get any good ones when I go.
