Hope everyone is doing well! Still on storm watch here, whether it becomes a tropical storm or not, its still a rainmaker and we are expecting 5-7 inches of rain starting sometime this weekend - yikes!

Nan - hope you remained out of harms way with all those tornadoes yesterday!
Lisa - did Miss Megan enjoy her first day as a junior - such a great time?!
Chae - hope the storms passed you by!

Good morning!

Yes, we stayed calm here. I'm still awaiting a text from my sorority sister as she is in the hardest hit area. They are still without power so I don't want to text her so that I know her kids, her husband, and her mom can reach her. I will try to touch base with her once I hear power is back on!

Becky -- sorry about the weather headed your way.
Lisa -- hope Megan had a great day.
Chae -- how is your weather? Saw storms in your state this morning.

Today's agenda:

J up and out (school photos and parent night)
M working from home
B up and out to school/football/football dinner
C up and off to class (I hope campus stays quiet today)
wait on fridge and freezer delivery
work on J's college book (need to finish the last few pages)
work on C's college book (need to include his new campus -- guess I need to include a journal of yesterday's crazy day)
work on "to do" for email I received last night (I'm so excited!!!)

No real storms here - just rain. The storms stayed downstate

Make food to take to the lake - I haven't cooked much this week

happy the storms missed you Nan. Becky hoping your don't get hit either. everyone stay safe and follow directions please! we are just dealing with a couple days of close to 90 again, but then back into the 70's with a little rain Sunday, which we need!

Megan's first day was great! only class she's not thrilled with is her pre-calc. no friends in it, they all took pre-calc honors which is the same period, she might look into switching. only a few juniors in her class and they are all boys, the girls are seniors and a bit snotty she said. letting her figure it out and talk to her counselor if he wants to switch.

today:
make lunch for my girl
wrap up her plant she grew for AP BIO

I have my post op apt at 8:15
load of towels
need to go through my piles in the office/file, shred
update my yearly calendar with school info
scrap a bit
Megan has rehearsal for dance after school until 4:00
homework
dinner
