well I'm not sure about the good - James is fussing at me big time
he broke his headphones (again) so he lost his computer which makes him very fussy
back to work for me - just under 4 weeks to go (I really think it is bad that everyone where I work keeps counting down to the next time off)

then T-ball tonight

Up and moving early this morning. DH had to be at the hospital by 5:30. His surgery to replace the broken plate in his elbow is scheduled for 7:30 and hopefully will only take 3 hours. They'll keep him overnight. I'm heading back to the hospital after Rachel heads out for school.

Monday Morning is here...

Low key weekend here - this was DH's first weekend off since October. Yes, the power uprate outage is FINALLY over as it 16 months, woo-hoo! DH is back to his regular work hours and gets to sleep in an extra 45 minutes too! Shortly, he'll go back to getting every other Friday off again as well (they work 9 hour days to get every other Friday off!)

So for today -
swap out towels
vacuum
laundry
meal planning for week
steam clean all the tile floors
call doctor to see if meds have arrived
mail sisters b-day card
scrap
baked turkey breasts, green beans and mashed taters for dinner

Cheryl - hope things have go well with your hubby's elbow surgery!
Nan - making moola from cleaning the boys rooms? NICE!
Cassey - hope Julia enjoys her spring break!

Yes, Becky.. I have instilled a $5.00 charge on my boys when they don't clean their rooms when I have given them an entire weekend.... I warned them this would be the next step, they didn't believe... I need to make their bills and attach them to their doors! I either get cash or $5 worth of chores of my choice!

Today wasn't too bad. Alot of calls for last minute tax returns, but we were swamped so the boss said no. Hopefully they finish up what was left by midnight tonight.

Please pray for those injured in the explosions at the finish line of today's Boston Marathon.

DH is in his room now. Surgery took 4.5 hours and then he spent 2 hours in recovery. He seems to be fine, but, fuzzy and in pain.

Glad to hear he is doing fine! Hope this truly fixes everything.
