The best dessert I ever ate at WDW

Raglan Road is in Downtown Disney, the Pleasure Island area. No bananas, but it does have raisins. It's made in layers however so the raisins are easy enough to pick out if you don't like them (which is how I eat it lol). Comes with butterscotch and creme anglaise (sp?) sauces. Very good but I still prefer Ohanas (without the bananas).

My very favorite desert in all of WDW is the raspberry pavlova at Raglan Road. I have no idea what it is called on the menu, however it is superb!

Hands down my favorite dessert is the Warm Glazed Doughnut at Sci-Fi. I cannot wait to sink my teeth into one in 8 days... Yum!!!

It's hard to pick my Favorite desert, but the "Best Desert" I ever had was the one in the picture.desert.jpg

Yes, it was as large as it looks.

2 CMs came out to us and told us the following:

"Belle was in the kitchen experimenting with deserts and she came up with a new one. She would really like to get your opinion on it."

Then they revealed this desert from behind their backs along with a stack of napkins and a bunch of spoons.

Me my wife and 2 daughters were completely surprised and had trouble finishing it (ok, we didn't finish it) but it was certainly very good.

It had Ice Cream, 5 or 6 LARGE cookies, Hot Fudge, Carmel, Peanut butter, and of course whip cream.

No Charge. I guess we were sprinkled with a bit of the Pixie Dust that day.

Ohana' bread pudding is an obvious one
And my new favorite is the chocolate ice cream macaroon sandwich at the bakery in France. A must try if you like French macaroons

The tiny little GF raspberry/lemon curd macarons at the French bakery.....
wait! or the bag of freshly made caramel corn from the Germany candy store....no wait! the GF/DF 'ice cream' cookie sandwich from Trails End buffet (it was HUGE!) :jumping1: it's impossible to choose just one! I also obviously need to visit Bluezoo just for dessert (can you do that?)

I'm pretty sure it is the Whispering Canyon Campfire-style Gooey Cake at Whispering Canyon. I'm not quite sure bc there were so many of us with dessert and we were sharing. It. was. delicious! I was kind of miffed bc I was too full to eat much of it!:cake:

Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at Liberty Tree Tavern. I'm desperate about the refurbishment planned for our next trip. California Grill's Chocolate Pudding Cake was also quite something.

Ger's Bread Pudding at Raglan Road
Turtle Cheesecake at Coral Reef
Grapefuit Cake at Brown Derby
Banana Creme Brulee at Kona Cafe
Fried Wontons at Yak & Yeti
Green Tea Cheesecake at Tokyo Dining & Teppan Edo (sleeper hit: refreshing)

Just some fruit from one of the carts. We aren't dessert people.

Bwahahahah. Just kidding. Literally all of them. I've been grabbing a cream puff from the French patisserie in Epcot since hubby and I were dating so it's still a must have each trip. Other than that we all get different desserts with each meal so we can try everything. 44 days until we are indulging.

And I love all the pictures in the posts! Can't wait to try everything. Especially the wontons at Y&Y. Haven't been there before.

It's not on the menu anymore but the pistachio brulee at Jiko. I would go down and get it to go to take back to my room every night. Now I would have to say the bread pudding at Raglan Road.

I remember the Pistachio Creme Brulee at Jiko, it was the best !! Sorry to hear they took it off the menu, my husband and I loved that.

The chocolate/coffee/almond pot de creme dessert at Jiko was absolutely one of the most decadent and incredible things I have ever tasted in my life. I got up to 323 lbs being addicted to sugar...I know my sweets. While I am (thankfully) no longer anywhere near that size, I still enjoy a very occasional dessert. They brought us a mini pot de creme for our one year anniversary dinner at Jiko, and I almost fell out of my chair. So good!!!!

Chocolate mousse and crème brulee at Chefs de France.

Or.... the warm chocolate pudding at the Ireland booth at F&W last year. It was like a dense flourless chocolate cake and was delicious! I think we got about 4 of them.

I'm sure the picture doesn't do it justice!!!!! LOL
In case you want a non-carryout version (but I bet it tasted just as good!).

Ive seen a picture of this and it looks amazing but I don't think you can order it by itself (isn't it part of the skillet/family thing?). Too bad!

I have many great desserts at WDW, but the most memorable one, in a good way, was a seasonal dessert that Yachtsman Steakhouse had one year at Christmas time (they haven't had it since, at least when I have been there). It was a Caramel Apple Crisp that was, itself, terrific, but the thing that took it over the top was a Spiced Cranberry Sorbet. I have literally never tasted anything that affected me in the way this did. It was a tiny little scoop but it was huge in flavor. My entire mouth literally tingled when I took a bite. I would love to re-experience that sorbet.
