Following my previous report on 3 weeks in heaven, just a quickie on a little mishap which occured on one of our many nights out. Whilst staying at the Boardwalk we thought we would try out Jellyrolls for the 1st time, having read many glowing reports on this venue from many of you. Off we went payed our 10 dollars each 'cover charge', brought our drinks & started what seemed like a most enjoyable end to the evening. Lesley (the wife) thought she would try the Cocktale Special which to those who go there often know it as a very large & tall container. The place was full, no seats anywhere, so we stood at the raised bar area just above the lower level tables. After about half an hour of good entertainment all was brought to a crashing conclusion when a 'very happy' young lady wearing a HUGE sombrero fell backwards towards us sending all drinks everywhere, (mostly over Lesley who was drenched from top to bottom). Evening over, did they care? Did they heck, the so called 'door staff' were only concerned that what ever drink you may have had left was NOT ALLOWED outside on the Boardwalk. THe following morning we asked in reception if there was anyone interested in hearing about our unfortunate event, & here it is. Thank You Disney, they gave us 100 dollar credit on our bill, (not necessary but they insisted), matter closed, no when we returned to our room that evening we were met with a HUGE basket of fruit/cheese, what a LOVELY gesture.
