Has anyone had a good experience with a gluten free meal at Teppan Edo? Do they have gluten free soy sauce and can they prepare meals a separate GF meal for our daughter and/or prepare something gluten free for our whole table so we wouldn't have gluten out on the hibachi grill...assuming we could get our own table (party of 6)? Thanks!!

I don't have any experience with gluten free at Teppan Edo. In general though Disney is very good about allergies. I bet they can help you. People have reported how they have had food good int he kitchen to avoid any type of cross contamination.
I don't think you will have your own table as a party of 6. The tables seat 8 and every time I have been they have filled them completely.

Come over to the DisAbilities Board and we can give you all kinds of suggestions for gluten free meals :). We are a gluten free family and have had many great meals around the world including Epcot. We have not eaten at Teppan Edo though because we tend to stick to Disney owned restaurants.

    Have a wonderful trip!

I've eaten gluten free at Teppen Edo and while the food was fabulous, I didn't care for how they prep it.

Because they cook noodles on the grill, your entire meal is cooked and provided to you, prior to everyone else getting their noodles and vegetables. You are either eating ahead of everyone, or your food sits while everyone elses is cooked.

I've never been a fan of soy sauce, so I don't know if they offer a gluten free soy sauce.
