You may not find things all in place,
Friend, when you enter here.
But, we're a home where children live,
We hold them very dear.
And you may find small fingerprints
And smudges on the wall.
When the kids are gone, we'll clean them up,
Right now we're playing ball.

For there's one thing of which we're sure,
These children are on loan.
One day they're always underfoot,
Next thing you know, they're gone.

That's when we'll have a well kept house,
When they're off on their own.

I don't know why they did it.. They said they were gonna go kick the soccer ball around.. giggle, giggle, run, slam, run... giggle, giggle... UH, little too much giggling out there, wonder whats up.. OH S***! Uh, you all better run.. as dad rounds the corner with the trash can going.... WHAT ARE YOU DOING!
To which 3 kids scatter in every direction they can think of.. yet DS6 scatters towards dad.. who offers to put him in the trash can for save keeping (please note.. he never put him in the trash can!) DH just laughed it off....
OK, off to spend some more time w/ the kids.. we've had off/on rain all day! good grief! yucky rain!
