Tell Me About the Special Food Events for the F&W Festival

DH and I are going to be in WDW during the F&W festival. It is our first time, and although we will have our kids with us, my parents are going as well, so that DH and I can have a romantic evening or two out. I'd love to hear what your experiences were with tastings or special dinners, how far in advance you were able to book, cost, cancellation policies and if anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to hear those as well.

Watch these boards for when the Special Dinners become available to book; they go very fast and you have to get up early the first day of the bookings to get them.
