Kristel- Have a fabulous time! I'm missing you by literally a weekish. Poo Poo!
CE- I hope you are better. The stomach flu sucks! Poor thing!
Dawn- You wanna come clean mine?
Kat- Great news about your DH!
V- I'd love to hear the highlights. I'm looking forward it this year!
________
DS's b-day party was great! The private viewing room was super neat and the kids loved it... I loved that they could talk and no one would shush them. I also loved the reclining leather chairs. I wish all theaters had seats like that to watch movies!
Is everyone's kids mesmerized by those dumb squishy things? The kids around here are gaga for them. I put some in the party bags and you'd think that I had given them gold. All in all I really only spent just over $1 on the party bag contents!
Okay- I think I'm cheap. When we go to parties I try to have ds pick something as a gift in the $15-20. Well amongst other things he received 3 items that I know are $29.99 +tax, and 1 gift card that was $50. Each from only one kid. I'm feeling kind of uncomfortable. AM I TOTALLY OUT OF THE LOOP?
Back to my other news- For those who asked. Yes, it means living in the UK. Leeds specifically. We don't know anything until this project moves forward, but we most likely would be there for a specific amount of time (based on a project). It's all really up in the air... but my DH is really pushing for it with his company. To tell you the truth- after the last year, we really could use a break, a change, time to be away from a lot of things and have to count on only each other. Sorry to be so vague. But my life has not been champagne and roses in the last year. (nothing I can share in this open forum). But... I'm keeping my chin up!
