Taking Uber to Port Everglades

We'll be Ubering from Pompano Beach (about 15 miles north of FLL) to the DCL terminal at Port Everglades. Our PAT is 12:15. How far in advance should we plan to arrive at the port?

I think it is actually a window? Maybe 12:15 - 12:30.

And you probably will still have a bunch of people with your PAT that have been there over 30 minutes when you arrive.

You can pretty much plan on getting there right when they say. A few minutes early maybe, but not much.

Ugh, I should've asked a more specific question . Should we expect traffic near Terminal 4 once we arrive at PE? Is there usually a long line of cars at bag drop-off? Just trying to figure out how much in advance we should leave the hotel and figuring in some buffer for sitting in the car, waiting to pull up to the porters.

We Ubered in January, with a PAT of 12:15. We ended up arriving just after noon and there was no line to drop anything off, so we just hopped out and gave our luggage the porters. It took just a few minutes to make our way over the entry, and they let us head in at that point.

The back-up was leaving the port with the Uber - it took him a few minutes to even be able to get to us, and then for us to be able to get out. We left at about 9:30 AM.

We had a similar experience as the PP. We arrived at 11:30 for a 12 PAT. (Our pre-scheduled Uber was early) No backup/no traffic. Just be prepared to have some form of ID handy when you enter (and exit) the port area.
