Switching room and ticket question

If I am going for 10 days, can I book a package for the first 7 days at one resort with a 10 day hopper, and then transfer the last three hopper days to the new resort when I move? Does my question even make sense? I didn't word it very well.

you can book a package for the first 7 days and then transfer to a room only and keep using your old tickets

Can I book a different package for the second three nights with a one day base ticket and still use my hoppers from the first package? I know it seems like it would cost more, but in my situation I am trying not to loose a discount, but do a split stay.
