Ok... just realized that I was asking about pools and we will probably go in November or December with an outside chance of October of Jan/Feb. Would we really swim then, or is it too cold or is it like here in Texas...it could be 95 degrees on Christmas day or 20. If you don't like the weather, just wait a few days!!! Seriously, would we even use the POR pool or any pool in December?

That's too hard to predict. The weather in Orlando is pretty much the same as TX. The pools are open year round, unless they are undergoing a rehab.

The temperature ranges are not as wild as Texas but Dec, Jan & Feb are somewhat unpredictable. It could vary from low 60's to high 80's in the day and we've had much colder days in Jan & Feb -- even freezing. The pools are heated, so cooler days are still "swimmable" (is that a word?). You rarely get more than a couple of cold days in a row.

We were at the BWV in December. The day we arrived it was 80+, 2 days later it was 32 for the low in the morning and made it to the mid 50's that afternoon. By the end of the week it was back to mid/upper 70's. We did swim once/twice and used the hot tub almost every night.

We've taken several December Disney trips and the weather is always unpredictable, shorts one day & winter coats & gloves the next :upsidedow
The pools are heated and if you have kids, it won't matter what the air temp is, they'll love swimming at Disney in December :cool1:
