Watchmen
The dresden Files (first one is stormfront) by Jim Butcher
The time travelers wife
the acadental time machine
Pendragon (first one is the merchant of death) (10th and final book comes out this summer)

those are all good sci-fi/fantasy books I read this year

The Accidental Time Machine sounds good.

Kingdom Keepers 3 comes out in August, which i'm waiting for.

I've been reading more older books recently, like Round the World in 80 Days, and Call of the Wild. I have a selection of 100 (thanks to the DS game 100 Classic Book Collection. I don't think it's out in the USA though.)

Anything by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti is good.

I'm reading Run For Your Life by James Patterson right now and I love it.

I have a book list for this summer (and fall, etc). I'm going to try and catch up on my classics, but there are a few fluff books as well. It's kind of a long list...

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen (I've been meaning to read this for months!)
1984 - George Orwell
Nickel and Dimed - Barbara Ehrenreich
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood
Invisible Man - Ralph Ellison
Typical American - Gish Jen
Rena's Promise - Rena Gelissen
The Grapes of Wrath - John Steinback
The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold
Casino Royale - Richard Fleming
Nineteen Minutes - Jodi Picoult
Beloved - Toni Morrison
Brave New World - Aldous Huxley
Catcher in the Rye - J.D Salinger
Ethan Frome - Edith Wharton
Gone with the Wind - Margarett Mitchell
A Seperate Peace - John Knowles
Tess of the D'Urbervilles - Thomas Hardy
To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte

I've read quite a few of this already, but it was a while ago, and I just feel like re-reading them.

Currently i'm reading book 4 of the Edge Chronicles.
the series is pretty good so far.

i've seen Pendragon before and it looks pretty good.
i think i'll check it out.

UGH. no. xD Personally, I don't like it so far. I mean, it's okay.

I'm going to read Story Of A Girl by Sara Zarr. I think it's Sara. I dunno. xD

EDIT:

Pride and Prejudice was good. So was Brave New World. That one's a really easy read. Catcher in the Rye, you either love it or hate it. I hated it.

And, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LVOEEEE A Separate Peace.

dune is a great series

Wuthering Heights sucked this year
mockingbird was god last year, I havn't read that whole list though BP

I think I'll read Dune this summer for one of my requirements.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/100-Classic-Book-Collection-Nintendo/dp/B001LK6XKE/

That's a DS game called the 100 Classic Book Collection. I don't think it's available in the USA, since it's not on amazon.com. It contains 100 classic books, from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to Pride & Prejudice. Around the World in 80 Days to Romeo & Juliet. Best part is, it's 15p a book :teeth: (I think that's about 21 cents in the USA)

So, i'm reading those books. Atm, i'm reading Call of the Wild. Not sure what i'll read after. I tried the Hunchback of Notre Dame, but it was really boring, and gave up before finishing the first chapter.

Anything by Ellen Hopkins.
Crank, Burned, Glass, Impulse or Identical.

I just finished Identical 2 nights ago - I loved it. Probably my favorite book by her.

I also read My Sister's Keeper last summer and loved it. Just started Nineteen Minutes (both by Jodi Picoult)

Sarah Dessen's always a good bet.

Other favorites:
The Bell Jar -Sylvia Plath
Perks of Being a Wallflower -Steven something with a C that's hard to pronounce.
The Guardian -Nicholas Sparks
