Yes it's that time of year again- people are shortly going to be going on holiday so the ATC strike
Air Traffic Controllers have announced their strike for the 2nd and 3rd of July
Normally it's short and medium haul that are the most affected with around 40% of flights cut
At the moment it's too early to say who and what will be affected as they only announced this latest action this afternoon.
Check with your airline nearer the time
The SNCF will be on strike from 19.00 tomorrow 24th June to 8.00 am 26th of June
No idea as yet again what and who will be affected but last March when they did this it was only 10% of traffic that was bothered.
Check with Eurostar and SNCF if you are travelling to DLP indirect
Eurostar along with Eurotunnel were blocked today due to striking workers from MyFerrylink up in Calais
Again check with Eurostar/Eurotunnel as this could be repeated over the coming days as the strikers have nothing to lose - come June 2nd they will have all been made redundant
