Struggling with our food plans for next week

We really can't make up our mind where to eat next week. It's been almost 2 years since our last trip but we've only got a flying 2 night trip this time.

We'll arrive at the parks around 1130am on Tuesday and leave about 430pm on Thursday. We've just gone for Half Board Standard this time as it's such a short trip.

The boys always enjoyed Lucky Nugget so do you think the Cowboy Cookout will be worth trying? Also wondered about Restaurant des Stars as we've never eaten there? Is it worth it or would there be a better option?

It looks like the cowboy cookout will be doing similar food to the lucky nugget so it might be worth a try.

We have eaten at restaurant des stars and the food was good and there was plenty of it. We have also eaten at the plaza and annettes which are both on the standard plan and we enjoyed them both:goodvibes

If you are eating at restaurants in the park you might want to know that they are often only open for lunch.:goodvibes

Thanks for that.

Yeah, we usually tend to do an early breakfast then splurge on a huge lunch and just have a snack later on. Might do a big lunch on the Tuesday once we arrive as we'll have been up early travelling, then go for an evening meal on the Wed - might even do the hotel buffet (we're staying at Cheyenne) then a lunch again on Thursday seeing as we're leaving late afternoon.

We'd like to eat in places we haven't tried before so we're ruling out:
Annette's
King Ludwig's
Planet Hollywood
Agrabah
Blue Lagoon
Cafe Mickey
Lucky Nugget
Plaza Gardens
Beaver Creek
La Cantina

Restaurant des Stars and the Cheyenne restaurant sounds fine then - isn't there also a set menu on the half board standard plan for the Silver Spur?

Oh, and Walts does an express lunch menu for 19.95euros, 2 or 3 main course options and a Cafe Gourmand - you could use your half board vouchers at face value for that.
