Strategy for getting O'hana or Space for honeymoon

My son is going to WDW in May for his honeymoon. We have tried and tried since the first possible day to get reservations and haven't had any luck. I even signed up for the Reservation Finder with touring plans. There have been a few to come up and I immediately jump on to get it but it's taken every time. I've tried midnight and 6:00 am. I don't know what else to do. Is there something I'm missing? Another reservation finder tool?? Thank you!

Try: Mouse dining dot com they have a Free and Paid version.
You can also go to the website and play with dates and number of people and sometimes you will luck out that way.

There is also an iPhone app called: Stakeout they have 1 free search or Paid version up to 5 searches at a time - I believe.
It may take a few days and even a week or so. But I usually get what I have asked for using Stakeout.

During any down time - you can keep checking the Disney app for reservations - play with times and people count *you can always modify the numbe of guests later.

If all else fails - I have had lots of luck with night before/day of last minute reservations.
Ohana has a walk-up wait list. Both times I've been to Space 220 were day of reservations! Good Luck!!

Space 220 was the hardest one to get for our spring break trip at the end of March. I finally grabbed a time via Stakeout for a 2:45 pm lunch. We would have been fine with it but we were hoping for a little earlier. I got a bunch of alerts the day before and ended up modifying it three times and finally got it up to 12:50 pm. We loved our meal there so don’t give up!
