And we checked in for our lunch.
I was so glad this place was open again. I just love it.

I really enjoyed this salad. It has the best mixture of crunchy and sweet and savory.
DH got
New England Pot Roast... Our Tavern Keeper's Favorite- braised beef in a cabernet wine and mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and garden vegetables $20.00

DS got
Angus Chuck Cheeseburger- topped with bacon and cheddar or mushrooms and provolone served with fresh fruit or tavern fries $16.00

DS totally scarfed this. I mean who doesn’t love those fabulous steak fries.
For dessert, DH got
Boston Cream Pie- tower of vanilla cake, white chocolate pastry cream, chocolate ganache, and chocolate pearl crunch $8.50

Dang – that looks good. The hubs is in Italy right now for work, so I can’t ask him, but one can imagine that tasted super yummy.
DS left after his burger was finished to “do his own thing” – buzzkill. So DH ordered this because – well – we had another dessert coming with our meal credits.
Seasonal Fruit Cobler- baked seasonal fruits with a crisp topping and homemade ice cream $8.00
[/URLhttp://s1092.photobucket.com/user/jecskc/media/November 2015/Day 4/K1024_DSC03677.jpg.html]
We all had a few bites and it was pretty good.
DD just got a bowl of ice cream – boring.
I didn’t get a photo because I was too focused on MY dessert.
Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake- vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce $7.50
