Springtime Surprise Weekend 2024 (April 18-21)

Here's the summarized information for you all. I'm going to be really curious on the Challenge bibs. There are several non-POT bibs in the 21xxx-23xxx range and yet Club runDisney Platinum are in 235xx-238xx range. Usually the CRD are slotted at the back end of the last POTs and placed in the last POT corral. The 23xxx HM of 2:05 looks off, but my calculator puts that at 1:33:49 10 miler equivalent and outside the POT range (sub 1:30 10 miler).

I could be wrong, but if I recall correctly the last 2 years there has only been 1 POT corral (A), I have been in B both years since the 54ish min 10K is just out of my reach for the 1:30 cut off, got down to 56 at my last 10k. Hopefully Springtime will see the same changes that other runs have and will have the POT upped to 1:45 or 2:00 for 2025.

Is it possible they are putting CRD at the back of corral B, and it will just be a very big corral?

IIRC last Springtime Surprise, B was a combo of the first non-POT corral and CrD.

Club rD being assigned the back of Corral B (or whatever the first non-POT corral is) is exactly what appears to be occurring. And @fatmanatee is corroborating that as past experience as well.

My friend 5 K is 435XX no proof of time (I don't know if they do that for 5K) and maybe a 10 min mile pace?

I’m really hoping they raise the POT for next year! 🤞

I just looked back at photos and you are right! The only POT corral was A (s1 in 2022).

I’m at the airport, waiting for my flight to St Louis (where I will then wait for my flight to Orlando) TSA dinged me for the DL medals in my carry-on (I want C2C medal pics), which has never happened before. They were cool about it and I had lots of time (yay for having a tiny airport option)

If it helps with data collection, I have bib 3XX for the 10-miler with a 1:56 HM submitted.

Local Here… have everything in piles in my room hopefully will make a dent in packing before work… it’s a closing shift so home at midnight then have to be up around 6am otherwise

The mean and pushy hair ladies selling $800 flat irons will be back for the expo.
I don't remember them from Princess. If they were there, we must not have gone by. My cousins were searching for fun sunglasses and I was bent on getting to Fluffy Fizzies.
