Split stay question

We have an upcoming split stay in January and I was under the impression that DVC would transfer your luggage AND guests to your next DVC resort....
Is that correct?

Staying BLT then AKV

Resort bell services will transfer your luggage, not DVC. Not people, you are on your own to get there.

Do you know if you need to go to BLT DVC desk or Contemporary desk for bell services.....

Bell Services will transfer only luggage & any groceries.

You will need to use either regular Disney transportation (luggage not allowed), personal vehicle or taxi/uber to get yourself and guests to the next resort.

We often do split stays. Normally, we call Bell Services to pick up our luggage then we take the bus/boat/monorail to our designated park of the day. Mid afteroon (or when we receive a text that our new room is ready) we use Disney transportation to travel to our new hotel. Luggage does not arrive at the new hotel until after 4pm and then you need to be in your room for it to be delivered.

In November, we decided to take a taxi along with all of our luggage since we had plans to attend the MVMCP that evening. The cost from Boardwalk to Bay Lake Tower was about $15 plus tip. That plan worked out very well also.

We are actually checking out on NY day from BLT to AKV. I have FP's for late afternoon at HS so we may just sleep in a little, I will bring the bags down early, then either take the bus to DHS around check out time or to AKV first...

Just call bell services from the room phone, they will pick up your stuff and deliver it to AKV. Let them know, Jambo or Kidani.

Yes, they have an app. If you haven't used it before, there are lots of referral codes out there for free $10-20 for you first ride. Then have another family member sign up under your referral code (if you need a second ride) and then both of you will get some sort of credit.
