Spectromagic Parade/Water Parade?

We are taking a wishes cruise and I recall someone mentioning to ask our boat driver to hang around to watch the Spectromagic/Water Parade. I know there is a Spectromagic Parade at MK but do not know when it takes place. When I went to Disney as a kid I remember a Water Parade. Does that still exist and if so does it happen after Wishes?

we just returned today and we saw a water parade every night on Bay Lake which consisted of 2 long "boats" which had different water creatures, ie octopus, dolphin, etc and at the end all the boats turned into american flags. Quite the sight. One night it happened around 9:30pm and another night around 10pm. We were staying at the contemporary and our room faced the lake that's the only reason we knew about it.
