Special Dining Themes?

On the nights where there are "Special Dining Themes" like Master Chef or Captain's Gala, do restaurants like the Animator's Palate still do their "show" with the colors changing and whatnot? I'm just wondering so if I decide to skip a dining room night on a regular rotation, I won't miss it.

The AP show is only on the first nonthemed night in that dining room. Depending on your cruise itinerary the nights will change. The current regular lineup is noted under DINING in the DIS DCL FAQ thread in my signature.
