I saw a post here about southeast but my question is abut southwest and not sure if they are the same. So any way:

On southwest if you book a flight are you guaranteed of getting a seat. I know it is not assigned seating but I am a little worried that I get to airport and they overbook and I don't get a seat.

Southwest and Southeast are most definitely different airlines.

That being said, you are no more or less likely to be bumped from an SWA flight as you would be with any other airline. Assigned seats or not.

Best advice, get to the airport early, get your boarding cards, and get to the gate.
