My son, who is six, finished the first level of sorcerers today. We went back to the training site & they set us up for medium on our next quest. Unfortunately we leave in the morning. My son was wondering what does it mean to be on medium & if we didn't come back for two years could we pick up where we left off as long as the game is still around?

Medium is simply the next level of the game. It is a bit harder to beat than the easy level.

Yes, you can pick up your game at any time. Hang on to your key card to make it easier to continue.

True, you can hang out to your key card. However, the key card is linked to your park ticket. The longest park ticket is one year which is the annual pass holder. When you use a new park ticket to get inside MK, you will receive a new key card. The old key card will be useless. You can always ask to be put on medium level on the new key card.

The main difference comes to strategy. On Easy, every card beats every villain. On Medium, only specific spell types will defeat the villains so you have to use strategy to figure out which spell type beats which villains. The difference between Medium & Hard is that Medium you get 3 chances, then you'll defeat the villain; hard you have to play the right spell type.
