With a late June opening (rumored), soft openings will probably not occur until the first part of June...perhaps Memorial Day weekend but I doubt it.

This is one of the biggest reasons why we do our summer trip over 4 th of July week. By then the rides are normally open.

No it's just a up in the air thing and if your there when they have it the TMs will let you know the are doing it and they mostly use the term rehersal or at least that's what they said last year when we rode DM at the studios before the official opening

Yep and if it does open they will have a sandwich board out from explaining that its a technical rehearsal. That some parts of the ride may not be working and can close at any minute.

We will be there June 16- 21 and if no soft openings then we will def be there for the grand opening and now I am glad we got park to park tickets

If I had to guess, I'd say you'll be in luck. Just based on past practices.

Rumor has it that next Thursday may be the day for softs to start. Take that with a grain of salt. I'll be there Friday and will post if they are doing them.

We were over there today and the ride was running with someone on it. The exit wall is gone and is replaced with a roll down gate. You can hear the ride from outside and standing near the exit.

I have a feeling they will have it thus weekend. They need something to draw in crowds from Sea World for its Antarctica opening and Disney for its 24 hour party.

they told us yesterday that it should be in the next week and a half, the cast member said they havent ridden it yet. They also said the passholder preview event should be announced very soo too. We managed to meet the 3 transformers yesterday and it was amazing - bumblebee interacted brilliantly with the crowd and megatron was mega so no breach of trading standards there lol. All of the staff were fantastic too - cant wait for the ride now.

Yeah...the Passport newsletter said passholder ride times would be announced on 5/28 which is next Tuesday...can't wait to hear!
